About us

I opened Vintage Barbers on October 6, 2020 (Joe Arnold here). My wife and I had been in the salon industry since the early 2000’s, but coming out of the pandemic I decided to take a leap of faith and strike out on my own. I knew Statesboro needed an old-school Barbershop—a place for men to experience the kind of shop they saw as boys tagging along with their fathers. I wanted to bring back the nostalgia and craft of the straight-razor shave with hot-lather—all within a true gathering place. Since opening our doors in 2020 I’ve seen how much that vision resonates, and I’m very thankful to be a part of such an awesome community!

  • Gentleman’s Wax

    We offer ear, nose, and eyebrow services—both separately and in bundles.

  • Haircut

    All our haircut services come with a relaxing hot lather, straight-razor neck shave, and hot-towel treatment.

  • Shave Services

    Experience the best shave you’ve ever had in one of our comfortable vintage chairs. Every service has two stages to give you the closest shave possible: one with the grain and the other against. Enjoy a hot-towel treatment between shaves and a cooling treatment after.

  • Bundles

    We offer waxing bundles as well as haircut and shaving bundles to make the most of your appointment.
